structural engineer

TEG is a structural and civil engineering company founded in 2011, and has grown to its current size of 12 full time staff members. We are located on Pine Avenue in the heart of downtown Long Beach. TEG has been involved with over 1,700 projects with a focus on Southern California. Projects range from custom single family residences to live music venues to television shows.

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with varying experience levels (PE preferred). We are open to hearing from currently employed engineers who may be discreetly looking for a new challenge or may just be wanting to find out what other opportunities are available. To accommodate this, we will be offering flexible and/or off hours interviews and not contacting existing employers as a reference.

Available positions range from Associate Engineer to Engineering Project Manager.

 

DETAILS ON THE POSITION:

  • Schedule: full-time, Flexible start time.

  • terms: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

  • Pay: Salary TBD commensurate with position.

  • benefits: Medical, retirement, and vacation.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Self motivated candidates; eager to learn.

  • P.E. PREFERRED, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of Autocad and Excel.

  • Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Timber Design, Masonry Design, and Seismic Design class experience is a plus.

  • Communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
