entry-level structural engineer

TEG is a structural and civil engineering company founded in 2011, and has grown to its current size of 10 staff members. We are located on Pine Avenue, in the heart of downtown Long Beach. TEG has been involved with over 1,700 projects, with a focus on Southern California.

We are currently looking for new Structural EngineerS to join our team, with open positions in both our Commercial AND RESIDENTIAL TeamS. Work experience as a Structural Engineer is not necessary, you will receive extensive on-the-job training; though at least a B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.

 

DETAILS ON THE POSITION:

  • Title: entry-level structural engineer

  • Schedule: full-time, Flexible start time

  • terms: 40 Hour/week (overtime paid @ $37.50/hour)

  • Pay: $25/hour

  • benefits: Medical, retirement, vacation

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Self motivated candidates, eager to learn.

  • EIT is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Autocad and Excel.

  • Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Timber Design, Masonry Design, and Seismic Design class experience is a plus.

  • Communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
